Look at these pictures. What is the story?
Can you say the title in English?

With you partner, choose a story you like.

3. Read the story silently.
Then practice reading it aloud.
Remember:
Use your voice. Show emotion.
Change your voice for the different characters.
Eye contact.
Don't just read...TELL THE STORY.
Have fun.
As you practice, take turns. You read one page. Your partner reads the next page. When you finish, do it again. Change the pages you read.
4. Now change partners. Tell them your story. Listen to theirs.
5. Now download this handout: Adding Life to the story. Choose one or two of the ideas. Change partners. How will you tell the story this time?
6. Finished? Change partners. Tell your story again.
